Tekken Director Teases New Co-Op Action Game, Project Treasure
Bandai Namco Games’ Katsuhiro Harada has been pretty vocal this past month and with the announcement of his new game, it only continues.
Katsuhiro Harada is most known for his work on Tekken 7 (and taking absolutely no lip when it comes to his characters) which will be coming out this year. In the midst of working on that game, he has a new announcement — he’s working on another project with Bandai Namco Games. Polygon reports this new game goes by the code name of “Project Treasure.” Although we don’t know much about it, we do know what Harada disclosed during Nintendo Direct.
“It’s an action game where four players work together to complete varied stages. The basic aim is to clear traps, route enemies and seize treasures,” Harada explained. ”The game itself is free to download from Nintendo eShop and start playing… I can’t announce the game’s name or launch date yet, but its tentative name is ‘Project Treasure,’ and we’re working very hard on it.
Harada also stated that Project Treasure will be a Wii U exclusive that is “coming soon” and he hopes that everybody is anticipating more information on it. We have a feeling there will be more updates on this mysterious game in the not-too-distant future.
